Jenn Johnson-Hamer
No matter the art form, Jenn Johnson-Hamer can almost always be found creating. A diverse artist, she enjoys working in writing, music, visual and digital art, and theatre. She lives with her partner, their daughter, and their snuggly cat, and currently splits her time between northeastern Pennsylvania and the Catskill Mountains. You can find her @doveandblackbird on most social media, and her free Voices newsletter at jjhdoveandblackbird.substack.com.
Since childhood, Jenn has carried a love of art and spirit. She has been writing, playing, singing, and spiritually active for nearly 35 years, involved in theatre for over 25, and teaching for 15. Jenn believes that the arts are essential to us as humans as they allow us to feel and process the complicated emotions of living in a way nothing else can.
Her message has always been one of mental/emotional/spiritual health and healing. Drawing on her own experiences and challenges, Jenn is driven to help provide hope and understanding, helping others feel a little less alone so that she may pay forward what the arts and artists have provided her throughout her life.
She is constantly seeking true connection, and hopes to continue bringing her own bit of light and love to the world. ππ«
